Richard Deacon has exhibited internationally throughout his career. He was awarded the Turner Prize in 1987, elected to the Royal Academy in 1998 and to the Akademie der Kunste in Berlin in 2010. A large exhibition of his work was shown at Tate Britain in 2014, the same year as a collected edition of his writings was published.
