Michael Saward is Professor of Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, and currently a Leverhulme Major Research Fellow (2016-19). His most recent books are The Representative Claim (Oxford UP 2010) and the co-edited volume (with Engin Isin) Enacting European Citizenship (Cambridge UP 2013). He has published a wide range of articles and chapters on democracy, representation, citizenship, the European Union, and public policy, including in American Political Science Review, Perspectives on Politics and Journal of Political Philosophy.
