Wendy Wax grew up in Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan with a BFA in graphic design. After graduation, she moved to NYC and worked as a children’s book editor. At the same time, she began writing books and creating collage illustrations for magazines, ads, and books. Wendy has written books for Nickelodeon, Disney, and Children’s Television Workshop featuring popular characters including Dora the Explorer, Diego, SpongeBob, Fairly Oddparents, Backyardigans, Rugrats, Sesame Street, Barbie, and the Disney princesses.
