James E Mack served in the British Army for twenty-two years, first as a Royal Marine and then as a member of a special operations unit. His work took him to Northern Ireland, Afghanistan and Iraq, at the height of the insurgency. On leaving the military, James specialized as an advisor in counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency and has worked in over twenty-five countries and conflict zones. He now splits his time between his advisory work abroad and writing books. Hunter Killer Spy is his first book.
