Gordon Home (1878-1969) was a British author, journalist, and traveler. He wrote extensively on a variety of topics, including travel, history, and politics. His experience in Normandy informed his writing of the book "Normandy," which provides a detailed account of his travels through the region. He covered a range of topics, including politics, social issues, and cultural events. During World War I, Home served as a war correspondent, reporting from the front lines in France and Belgium. He was also a prolific author of books on military history, including "The Fifth Army in March 1918" and "The Story of the 29th Division."
