Jim McGrath was born in Dublin and moved to Birmingham, England aged five. Brought up in Handsworth, he always knew that one day he would write about the city he loved. Jim has published eight non-fiction books and written three novels. A Death in Winter: 1963 is the first book in the Collins & Clark series to be published by Inknbeans Press.
