George Christopher Watson is is an ancient historian and numismatist, who holds BA, MPhil and PhD degrees from the University of Cambridge. He is currently employed as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. His research focuses on the history of the third century AD.
