Mary Jane Miller is a first class teacher and Iconographer with over 25 years experience. Her collection includes more than 1,000 icons in the ancient practice of egg tempera. She speaks and consults on Byzantine style iconography in formal class settings, five day intensive silent icon painting retreats or one-on-one instruction and coaching. She has been painting/writing icons and teaching since 1995. Her collections include the Life of Christ series, The Mary Collection, In Light of Women Series, the Stations of the Cross and On Holy Ground. Some people have identified her as a mystic without a monastery, others refer to her as rebellious. Her work is always theologically provocative. Mary Jane lives in San Miguel Allende, Mexico.
