The Dovidian Circle has been assassinated on Norkron boarders and power has passed on, but to who or what?
An investigation has begun. A desperate attempt to learn who is behind this awful attack is underway. Leading the charge is Lethaniel and his squad, travelling across Ledera, a land that separates the countries of Krondathia and Ivulien. Their tasks, to bring their elusive enemies to justice and to restore Norkron control. Little does Lethaniel know as he progresses East, that his true enemy is closer than he realises.
The mystery grows, the Visions are deepening and Isabelle is restless. Exhausting all her options, The Star Caller seeks aid from The Readers, powerful mystics wrapped in chains of rules and regulations that prevent her from moving forward. Should she wish to deliver paradise, assistance from the most unlikely source is all but necessary.

Krondathia, home of the Norkrons a religious race bound together by faith and prophecy striving toward a utopian deliverance, is under threat. The Dovidian Covenant, led by Ridian Messiah is coming, heading further West toward the final bastion, Xiondel City situated in the heart of the country.
Although Norkron morale is torn, its forces scattered, their Star Caller missing and communities wrecked in the wake of siege warfare, surrender is not an option. Thao mounts a defence at Korthak Bridge, the conduit between Ledera and Krondathia. Mathias and Braygon begin their search in Ivulien, hunting for the one responsible for starting this war. Lethaniel sides with unlikely allies to assist his friends in the battles to come before he rides North, to fight for a cause greater than himself and any endeavour he ’s undertaken before.
Isabelle travels home with Teo. Finally, realising her true purpose as a Chosen, steps must be taken to shape the new world she’s envisioned, however a ghost from her past returns and stands in her way, threatening to burn her and everything she stands for.
