Wood and Technology is one of the titles appearing in the Australian Technology Studies series aimed at upper secondary school students. This book applies the design process to wood. From history and timber production the author guides students through tools and their use, safety aspects, then concentrates on the design and problem solving approach before examining production and environmental issues. The book is designed to be used in conjunction with Materials, Design and Technology.
