Grasses, Sedges, Restiads and Rushes of the Natal Drakensberg
by O. M. Hilliard
Published 30 June 1996
Conserved in the Drakensberg are some magnificent examples of the pristine grasslands that once covered much of KwaZulu-Natal. This title will help the visitor to identify some of the most common grasses, sedges, restiads and rushes. ""Grasses, Sedges, Restiads and Rushes"" is the second in a series of booklets on the natural history of the Drakensberg promoted by the management committee of the Ukhahlamba field centre at Cathedral Peak. The committee represents the department of forestry, the Natal museum and the University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg, all of which have research and management interests in the Natal Drakensberg. The ""Ukhahlamba"" series will help visitors to a fuller appreciation of the natural resources and beauties of the Berg.
