In Snow and Mistletoe both Alex and Noelle fall in love with each other's voice. I kind of get how a voice can get you hot and bothered. For me, one of the sexiest talking voices is that guy who is the commentator/narrator of The Deadliest Catch - Mike Rowe. When it comes to a singing voice - Eddie Vedder or Dean Martin. Mind you, I don't know if I'd fall in love with them because of it, but they certainly give me a chill up my spine.
So the story is about an audio narrator named Noelle who falls for her boss. They've only ever spoken on the phone, but she feels a connection to him. The chats they've had, made her feel closer to him.
Alex would love to have Noelle in his life but he has made himself almost a hermit because of the scars he has. He doesn't think he's good enough for her and keeps their contact to phone calls.
When they finally meet Alex doesn't want Noelle to see him. Eventually, they are able to get past Alex's insecurities and the hip grinding frenzy begins.
This story is sweet just as much as it's sexy. I'm thinking I'm Alexa Riley's newest fan and I will definitely be reading more in the future.
