In private practice, and also affiliated with the U. of Washington School of Dentistry, Cohen nevertheless found time to establish the Seattle Study Club, which meets to address advanced issues in dental treatment planning and has spawned an eponymous quarterly journal. For this reference he invited 17 eminent practitioners to present in detail their approaches to the issues of esthetic adjustments for proportion, display, and length; implant therapy; endodontic predictability; the ideal soft tissue framework; interdisciplinary treatment planning; establishment of a stable occlusal scheme; and the effect of orthognathic surgery on overall treatment, among other topics. The format is oversize (10x13"), and the elegantly produced volume contains abundant color photos.
