My rating is 4.5 stars
How fun that Pathway to Peace has a little bit of a You’ve Got Mail theme running through it. Without the animosity and the “you’re destroying my life” parts.
I really liked both Lindsey and Gavin. Lindsey’s struggles with what she should do with her life and how to let go of the grief she was still experiencing after giving her son up for adoption five years earlier were realistic but not portrayed in a depressing way. Gavin was struggling with a secret that he feared, for good reason, would drive Lindsey away.
With an overall feeling of hope with nods to You’ve Got Mail appropriately and cleverly used, this is a sweet, romantic story.
Characters from several of the author’s books appeared here. Lindsey was a secondary character in Courage to Change. It would enhance your reading of this one to first read the others in the series, but it is not necessary.
