Batman (2016-) #64

This issue of Batman ties in heavily with what has been going on in Heroes in Crisis. So if you have absolutely no interest in that plot, you’ll probably be happier just skipping this issue. But I think its setting up for something else too – it may tie back to Heroes in Crisis, or it may stay as a Batman plot. I’m not sure.
Bruce has been having a tough time of it lately. First, there are all of the obvious bits, like the wedding-that-wasn’t and being in a near constant basis of having somebody’s life on the line. Then there’s what has been happening in Heroes in Crisis. He set that up so they could have a safe space to recover…and then that whole mess happened. I’m not surprised that he is blaming himself for it. I’m just surprised it took me so long to realize it.
There’s more going on in this issue than just that, but I really don’t want to spoil it by talking about it too much. I will say that it was a total surprise, and I have so many questions that I need to be answered.
