This book provides a variety of professionals with a look in to what other companies are doing with multimedia. It provides actual examples of real systems, developed by companies for a variety of purposes. Through these examples, readers will discover how multimedia titles have been developed for use in sales, training, education, entertainment, and referencing. The book focuses on the IBM-PC compatible platform, although some titles developed for the Macintosh are also included. The accompanying CD-ROM contains examples of the titles profiled in the book as well as demo versions of software used to develop multimedia titles. The CD-ROM contains demo versions of the titles profiled in the interviews, as well as various multimedia development software discussed in the book.
