Rachel VanZandt grew up smelling Fruity Pebbles and Corn Flakes in the making in Cereal City (AKA Battle Creek), Michigan. After years as a middle-school band director, Rachel left teaching to raise her
oldest daughter. She soon discovered a love for entertaining her daughter with rich tales of adventure, friendship, and valor. A move to Florida, three additional children, and two dogs later, her love of storytelling has not changed. In her free time, Rachel enjoys reading, playing in her craft room and gardens, and spending time with her friends and family. Return of the Eagle is the first in The Reclamation Series.
