Marieke Steiner grew up in Chapel Hill, NC, and is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's degree in English. She works as a technical writer and has called Hampton Roads, Virginia, home since 1993. Ms. Steiner is married and has two children and loves to read and write short stories. The BOAT Adventures is her first published novel.
