Andrea Lardner is a mother, educator, and social activist. Her son, Abayomi, is the inspiration for this book. Her background is in sociology and international studies, and she has taught several college-level courses pertaining to those fields. In addition, she has contributed to research projects that have shaped policies at national and international levels. She hopes the book will impart the importance of equality to young children.
