Amity writes fantasy for young adults. While the content of her stories range from fairy tales to dragons to death, all her books feature young ladies who discover truths hidden in their own hearts and who find their places in the world around them. When this native Kansan is not writing, she cares for and homeschools her children and searches storm clouds for a glimpse of tornadoes.
