George Babec is the author of Voncara Cove, an adventurous steampunk novel with pirates, tall ships and blazing cannons. He has always been adventurous at heart and his mind is always in overdrive as he continuously pursues every opportunity to fulfill his passions to invent something new. George is a professional electronic engineer, having designed control systems for space based laser systems, media routers, industrial controls, and fiber-optic transmission systems. Learning is his greatest passion. He loves thunderstorms, ocean waves crashing on the beach, and exploring new and exotic places. George currently lives just outside of Gatlinburg, Tennessee with his family and enjoys the early morning mountain views and fresh air.
