Dan Waddell started his writing career selling stories to the tabloids before becoming a sports writer for BBC books. He is a keen genealogist and is the author of Who Do You Think You Are? Be a Family Tree Detective , and two further TV tie-in books for the hit BBC TV series of the same name. He has also published two fun and informative interactive guides How To Be a Spy and How To Be a Detective as well as two genealogy-based detective novels for adults.
