Tracy can't think of anything she'd rather be doing than writing romance novels. It's been her great pleasure to contribute to the Harlequin Temptation and Superromance lines.Like many authors, Tracy has had her share of professions before turning full-time to writing fiction: college, high school and nursery school teacher, advertising executive and newspaper reporter and editor. These experiences all contributed to her writing career.

Teaching brought out the importance of making the material relevant. Advertising emphasised meeting the expectations of the target audience. And newspaper reporting stressed the necessity of getting the facts straight and writing to a deadline. With these lessons in mind, Tracy works to create empathetic characters in stories that fulfill a reader's dreams in settings that are vivid and true to life. And don't forget the dollop of humour.

Tracy lives in New Jersey with her husband, two teenaged sons and a dog named Jack. She tries very hard to go to the gym three days a week, where she seems to spend a great deal of time adjusting her headphones. When the opportunity arises, you can find her plying Australia's waters, snorkeling off the Great Barrier Reef.
