I fell in love with this series via Max's book, and I am determined to work my way through them all, because I'm a fan of the Aces. This was a second chance romance, which is a favorite of mine, and I adored all the history Tanner and Katelyn shared.

You could tell what they shared in college was the real, and I kept rooting for these two to just accept that they were destined to be together. They had great chemistry, great banter -- essentially all the things I love to see in a good romance, but it was the way they really saw each other and shared each other's joy and sadness, which got me right in the feels.

Tanner's deep rooted fears made my heart ache. When he revealed these well buried insecurities, I was quite shocked, and yeah, I really wanted to give him a hug. I was trash towards the end of the book as he and Katelyn were working through all that, and yes, there were some happy tears. Especially during that A+ epilogue!! Seriously, it was fantastic.

So, I will continue to work my way through the earlier books of these series, because after 3 books, I am a solid Aces fan.
