He had to go abroad so he was winched aboard a ship bound for Lisbon The book "Journal of a Voyage to Lisbon" presents the detailed description of that voyage to Lisbon. Henry Fielding was very much aware of his illness but he continued to write. He was able to complete this book only a few weeks before his death. This is a very moving account of the real life incidents in Henry Fielding's life.
