Windows 98 builds on the success of Windows 95 in providing features to satisfy both business users and home user. Windows 98 optionally integrates Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4 into the Windows Desktop to provide Active Desktop features (such as a stock ticker or other constantly updated information). This integration of the Internet with the operating system brings both power and problems to the network administrator deploying Windows 98 as a network client. At the same time, increased administration features such as Microsoft's Zero Administration for Windows (ZAW) initiative promise to bring relief to administrators savvy enough to use the features to their full capacity.
