Thomas Wolfe was a farmer's son from the townland of Mallavonea near Skibbereen County Cork, Ireland. He was a very religious man of the protestant faith. He trained and became curate of Templecrone in County Donegal. Unfortunately he was to practise for less than a year before he died of pneumonia at the age of 28 years old.
