I am Gaby Cornelio, an author and full-time mother. Over the years, I have dedicated myself to sharing my passion for nutrition and wellness, while also offering a glimpse into my family life through social media. However, when my son Moroni was born with medical complications and underwent multiple surgeries, I left everything behind to focus completely on his care for four years. During that time, I became his advocate and an ambassador for inclusion, fighting for his rights and seeking the necessary resources for his health and well-being.In the most difficult moments, when I felt sadness over his health, surgeries, and recovery, I found healing through art and watercolor painting. Art became a way to heal my soul and distract myself, helping me overcome many challenges, which is why I decided to illustrate my own stories.Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. Being surrounded by doctors, specialists, therapists, and countless medical situations and diagnoses with my son Moroni, I developed a deep desire to learn more about health-a field that I live with daily. I want to gain a stronger understanding of these topics to apply them in my life and help others.Today, I share our stories with the hope of inspiring others, promoting empathy, family love, and a positive perspective on disability. Through my books, I aim to support other families facing similar challenges and show them that, although the obstacles may be great, there are always ways to grow and love more deeply.
