Under his direction, they operated a 2-million-acre concession in the Northwest basin of Argentina, drilling the 4th deepest well in the country (and the deepest well drilled by a Heli Rig), making it one of Argentina's most profound oil and gas discoveries. In Canada, the company operated a horizontal well in the Alberta foothills, believed to be the world's deepest at that time.
