G.S. Carline did not plan on writing a fantasy, but one morning in the shower it occurred to her that there weren't enough girl pirates in literature. She thought she would write a single story, perhaps a novella, about a young woman who has Important Life Goals and instead becomes the terror of the seas...and then the dragons came. The whole thing ended up as a trilogy and here we are.At the time of this bio, she is living happily with her husband and a Corgi.
