Working for Barclays Bank in the City of London in 1992, Bhat Boy narrowly escaped death in a terrorist attack when a bomb was detonated in his building. This life-changing event made him decide to pursue an art career full-time. The now-famous Gherkin was built on the site of his former workplace, it is a monument to his decision and one of modern London's most iconic buildings. Today, Bhat Boy lives with his husband in Canada's National Capital where he writes and paints full time. For more information go to www.bhatboy.com
