Mrs. Kristina S. Franklin was born in Shreveport Louisiana at Barksdale Air Force Base in 1977. Her parents, Karen Jackson Smith and Chester D Ward had two children, Mrs. Franklin and her eldest sister Mrs. Nina Taylor. Mrs. Franklin is the wife of Jeffrey D. Franklin Sr. of nine years, they both have a blended family of eight and three wonderful granddaughters. She holds two college degrees, AA in Health Information Management from National College of Business and Technology and a BS Degree in Human Services from Lancaster Bible College. Mrs. Franklin grew up in Orange Mound in Memphis, TN during most of her childhood. Her mother showed her and her sister how to survive and make ends meet with very little, along with teaching them the value of family sticking together. Her grandmother, Mrs. Annie Jackson taught her how to be a lady at all times, her grandfather taught her how to follow the rules of life, and the streets taught her how to survive and protect yourself at all cost. Kristina always had a gift for writing, she has been writing short stories since she was eight years old for fun. Her mother always called her an animated little child because she could make a story and act it out with any word they give her. In 2001 she wrote her first unpublished book entitled Maya's Storm and now she is the author of her first book, The Daughters of God. She started letting people see her talent when she joined her home church, Christ In You Faith Temple when she married her husband and became a member. Ever since then, she is the writer of all plays and skits that the church holds thanks to her Senior Pastor, Pastor Tommie L. Brown Jr. Now she has begun to create her own company called Kingdom Builders Outreach Services where she mentors young adults and adults with everyday life issues and helps them see the things in life that they don't see. Her contributions and her book and other books to come, are to let others see that life can be better if you know that someone else has overcome bad situations.
