Madelyn Edwards, or Maddy, as her friends call her, is a Louisiana native who lives in Asheville, North Carolina with her architect husband, Gene. They have a dozen grandchildren in three states and spend their free time traveling, camping in their RV and gardening. Maddy holds a BA in Journalism from Louisiana College and an MA in Writing from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She writes about race in a way that attempts to bridge the divide.
