Daniel Hoyt Daniels served abroad for many years as aU.S. Foreign Service Officer. Now retired, he spends hissummers in the Berkshire mountains of New York and winters inTexas and Nicaragua. In recent years he has taught mathematicsand various Romance languages. He has also published a three-volume set of his Moliere play translations and, more recently, a book about frequent pitfallsin present-day English Grammar, entitled Grammar Today.
