Sixteen year old Mormon convert Samuel Roskelley emigrated to Utah Territory in 1853. Most of his remaining life was spent in Cache Valley, Utah. This portion of his reminiscent autobiography relates his life and conversion in Devonport, England and his transcontinental journey to Salt Lake City.
