Patrick E. Brennan has enjoyed a lengthy writing career as a newspaper reporter, magazine editor and corporate communications executive, and currently resides in Stratford, CT. This is his first published children's book, although he has been an avid writer of short stories since age 9, when he first mastered sentence construction, and then at age 11, learned how to bang out stories on his grandmother's old manual typewriter. In junior high school Brennan bought a small printing press and sold "The Brennan Times" gazette to friends and neighbors for 5 cents a copy. In high school he honed his writing skills while also attending vocational school to learn printing, lithography & photography. He is a graduate of the Russell J. Jandoli School of Journalism and Mass Communication at St. Bonaventure University in Olean, N.Y., where he served as editor of the campus weekly newspaper and its humor magazine. He then spent 10 years as a newspaper and magazine editor before entering corporate communications work with GE, where he has had a successful 25 year career in roles at various corporate, industrial and financial services units of the global company.
