Brock Mays was born in Utah, but also feels at home in the countries around the Baltic Sea, having lived in both Lithuania and Finland. Brock is a lover of learning languages and experiencing new cultures. A perfect gift for Brock is a book on a language he doesn't yet speak. He holds a Master's degree in International Affairs and Global Enterprise. His passion for languages and all things international mixed with his love of all things "nerd" led to his debut novel, EMBERS: Book One of the Ascension Saga. Brock married the most amazing person on the planet, his wife Shay, in August 2014.
