Dink Kearney is a freelance sportswriter for Sportdfw.com. A hardcore Dallas Cowboys fan, Dink writes articles about America's team. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Dink became a North Carolina State Wolfpack fan at an early age and a big fan of its late coach Jim Valvano. Having seen the damage of cancer, Dink wanted to pay homage to the V Foundation and other organizations that are fighting this deadly disease. In addition to sports writing, Dink graduated from North Carolina Central University with a degree in history with a concentration in mass communication and journalism and received a masters degree from North Carolina State University in counseling education.
