Ian Lahey was born in Milan, Italy, to an American father and an Italian mother. In the 80's his dad took him and his brother on a long tour around Italy, he still has a green Contrada dell'Oca banner from Siena to remember that tour. He teaches English Literature and Aviation English in Udine and leads a quiet and ordinary life with his wife, his two children and his invisible cat, Laurelin.
