For three years, he was the author and illustrator for the _History of Humanism_ series at New Humanist, and is a contributing author to the Great Minds column at _Free Inquiry_ Magazine. From 2007 to 2018, under the pen name of Count Dolby von Luckner, he was co-author of the bi-weekly history webcomic _Frederick the Great: A Most Lamentable Comedy Breaching Space and Time_.
