Stanley Nelson lives in Oklahoma, and works for what is presently the only book publisher staffed and operated by a Native American tribe. His background includes several years in newspapers as an editor and columnist. He edits and supplies text for several of the publisher's titles, and authored Toli: Chickasaw Stickball Then and Now, winner of an IBPA 2017 Gold Medal for Regional Non-Fiction.
