As a child, Wendy wanted to be a writer. As a teacher, she stressed the importance of encouraging children to love books. Now a retiree, she writes humorous fantasies and adventures for eight to twelve-year-olds. Wendy graduated from the University of Newcastle and went on to complete a Master of Arts degree at the University of Sydney. She lives in Rozelle, NSW.
