Having written dozens of books for children and adults, Jan Fields turns to each new project with the goal of writing the mix of action, adventure, and weird that she has always loved to read. In every book, somebody somewhere needs to start running. Though she grew up in North Carolina, she now lives in New England with her husband and daughter, where they track down weird museums and attractions every chance they get.
