Gary Philpott was born in 1955. He graduated from Nottingham University and worked in scientific research for Smith and Nephew, The Ministry of Defence and British Gas, before becoming a physics teacher. He has written a number of textbooks, course materials and teachers’ guides for Pearson Education. Katrina will know was Gary’s first novel, followed by The Spanish Hotel and Down in the Woods which are also available as eBooks. This ebook is published posthumously by his wife, Marie.
